Sophia still has a cold.

For the last few days Sophia has still be feeling a little under the weather. Today she seemed to be much better but she seemed to get tired quickly. Even when she isn’t feeling well she still tried to entertain us by playing peek a boo and putting her books on her head because we laugh. Today we picked up a couple of pastries at the market on our way to the baby house. I just couldn’t resist giving her some. She was REALLY enjoying that. She also had a very small piece of chocolate. You should have seen the look on her face. She might only have one tooth but it appears to be a sweet one.

The other night after court we decided to try to eat at the Knight’s Castle again. We finally got in and had a meal. I had chicken breast wrapped with bacon, potatoes with onions, a salad and ice cream served with orange and kiwi slices. Melissa had pork sausage, mashed potatoes and greens. It was all very good and there was a live singer, dancers and a drunk guy for entertainment. The drunk was not part of the show but he sure like Oleysa and Melissa. When we were leaving he was offering me money to let them dance with him. It was tempting but I had to pass.

Tonight we are meeting with Nellie for dinner and we’re going bowling. Anyone who knows us knows how highly skilled we are at this sport so this should be fun. I’ll post the scores tomorrow. Maybe we will be lucky and it’s scored differently here.

I know there will be some cop/donut jokes here so I’ll explain the last photo. Melissa is the true donut fan and when we seen a Donimo’ Donuts stand that looks just like a Dunkin Donuts color scheme Melissa had to try her luck. She just started pointing to different donuts and the lady started filling up the bag. We weren’t to sure what flavors the filling was but it turned out very good. She ended up with lemon and cream filled. She keeps talking about going back to this place.
Give me more of that sweet stuff.

Being silly.

It isn't all fun and games over here. She looks so sad when she cries.

Melissa's new favorite snack.

Drunk guys are always great entertainment!!

We saw that Donut place in Almaty-but not in Kostanai! we had some REALLY good pastries, but never donuts! Sean will be sad when I tell him!

Leeza has a real sweeet tooth too. I can't have anything though without giving her a bite. Yesterday, my girfriend and I took the kids to this spray water park. Karen stopped on the way for a mountain dew and bought a reeeses peanut butter cup and gave me one. Leeza was in the back, in her car seat, saying MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY. I tried to fake her out and say "sorry, this is for mommy" and "all gone" but she was persistent..MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY, so I gave her a bite. then it was "more, more , more then her very cute "pwweeease". so i had to give her more. sigh. I hate sharing!

Tatiana took us a couple places with these yummy pasties that had chicken and cheese, etc...but we never had any dessert ones. I guess we were dumb huh!

Poor sad lil Sophie crying..that picture will break your heart!
Leeza has started this thing where you tell her now she covers her eyes like she's crying..such a faker. :)

Her cold will go away once you "break her free". :)

That Domino Donuts is a hoot! Where is it located? It must be new? Are the donuts anything like our Dunkin Donuts? There is also a cart near the telephone company or before on the main square that sells really yummy plain or sugar sprinkled donuts. I had to have those a few times while I was there. I love that you snuck some in for Sophia :) That is quite a boo boo face. She must have been crying because she couldn't have the whole donut :) Great that you finally got in to the Knight's Castle. What is your favorite restaurant so far?
