Must have been the Cheerios.
Today Sophia had an upset stomach with a messy diaper. We were told by the care taker that we can’t give her to many Cheerios. I swear we have only given her about 3 or 4 Cheerios a day. She doesn’t have any teeth but we thought she could enjoy a few of them. I guess we caused her diaper rash too. We asked for cream to put on it today and they didn’t have any. How can you have all of these children here and not have diaper rash cream on hand. I think they just wanted us to go buy some because I know I seen a caretaker applying cream to another child the other day. What ever the case we bought some to give to them tomorrow. We think that since she has an upset stomach they haven’t been giving her much to eat because she seemed like she was starving at snack time.
After our visit we went to the home made café. This is the place we had horse soup last time. I couldn’t resist ordering another bowl. I think it was better then the first. Melissa passed on some today.
We then went shopping at the big mall and grocery store. Tonight we are just going to watch one of the many DVD’s we brought with us. We have been going through them. We already watched a series of Dexter, 24, and Here’s. We loved all of them. The only series we have left is Nip Tuck and a bunch of movies.
A fresh bowl of home made horse soup. I know, you wish you had some too. YUM YUM!

Sean LOVED that horse soup. I wonder if that is the same cafe we used to go to..it is called Eliza's? Very good food-very inexpensive? we loved that place..they had great meatloaf that Leeza loved too.
I can't believe you are letting your daughter gorge on cheerios. :)
We brought with us like 6 tubes of diaper creme, then bought more for them when we were there. They call it miracle creme and use it for everything. They get so few American families there now I think they probably try to stockpile. I know before we took Leeza I bought them a ton of diapers and pacifiers for the group. It was hard saying goodbye to Leeza's group because we fell in love with all of them after being there so long. We had a lot of interaction with all the kiddo's-especially Sean!
Glad you brought a lot of movies. Sean and I watched them, but after he left, i went out most nights and never watched one movie. :)
Hope Sophia's tummy feels better...
Have a Happy 4th of July in Kazakhstan! The U.S. will be missing two of its cherished citizens and will be anxiously awaiting one of its cutest newest citizens-to-be :)
By the way, Rustam was terrified of the fireworks. I hope we didn't scar him for life - oops, lol.
Bill and Melissa -
We went through a few seasons of TV shows ... House, 24, Boston Legal ... plus LOTS of movies. There is a LOT of down time and that is often the easiest way to pass the evenings. I'm glad to hear you can get out at night. We were there in the middle of the winter so it got VERY cold at times. We were told not to give Adam any outside food. That way it wouldn't be our fault if he got sick:) Have you guys gotten a pre-court date? We love following your story and adore the pictures. Keep it all coming.
Shana, Larry and Adam
