Happy girl with an injured lip.
When we arrived at the baby house today we seen Sophia from across the room and noticed that they had her dressed up in a cute little orange outfit. Orange is definitely a beautiful color on her. We were really surprised to see her in this outfit since it was so light weight and sleeveless. We also took noticed that she has an injuried upper lip. The caretakers said she fell and hit her lip on the playpen yesterday. For anyone who hasn’t seen the playpen at the baby house, it’s a huge handmade playpen. It’s all steal and painted bright colors. There is a padding on the bottom but no padding what so ever on the railing, just pure painted welded up steal. We have seen a few babies take a fall already and hit their head on the railing. We know that has to hurt.
Despite having an injured lip our little one was very content with herself today. She didn’t fuss hardly at all and played well. We were surprised thinking she would be fussy today with that lip. We brought a sippy cup with cool water in it for her to drink. We were told that it was okay this time but it might be to cold and that room temperature would be better. What ever the case she loved it and couldn’t get enough. She drank the whole cup and some. Let’s hope she doesn’t get sick because they might blame it on us. We’d be willing to bet she was going to pee like a race horse later today.
After our visit we went shopping. Bill’s worse nightmare!! All this spare time and too many clothing stores. Melissa bought two sun dresses and a pair of slippers. She is trying to find some cooler clothing.
We skipped a late lunch because we have dinner plans this evening. Olyssa is taking us to the Knight’s Castle for an English style meal. We will let you know all about it tomorrow.

She looks GREAT in orange, however, she is a beauty so i am sure she will look great in any color. :)

Leeza had CONSTANT bruises on her head from that dang playplen. She was always bruised up, and her nose was always red from a constant runny nose. She was always so chipper though-our girls have great lil personalities..which is good cuz they are so pretty, we cant have them being lil snobs. :)
Have fun at dinner tonight! we never went there, but it sounds fun!
I'm not liking the fat lip. Our little Princess shouldn't have to go thru this. Just you wait until she gets home. She won't be in a playpen.

That's what comes with that "no fear" attitude you described earlier! Oh but she is adorable in orange! And what a switch from the layers of clothing. I guess the heat has settled in enough. Does it cool down in the evenings?
It has been unusually cool here. Still in the 50s in the evenings and not too many days over the 70s yet. But some days have been muggy... and still lots of rain across Pennsylvania.
We are heading for West Virginia tonight. We'll spend Friday night in Morgantown with Jennifer and then the three of us will head to Madison, just south of Charleston. We all (my brothers, Dad and families) hope to arrive early afternoon Saturday. Actual reunion is Sunday. Back home on Monday evening.

Sophie gets more adorable every day even with a busted lip. Things like that happen even if you watch them all the time and she looks like she is going to a hand full.

She is beautiful in orange!!!! Melissa are you allowed to wear shorts or do women need to wear pants? Do you guys have air conditioning in your whole apartment or just one room? Is there any part of the BH that is air conditioned?
