Third time NOT a charm

We tried to go to the Knight’s Castle restaurant last night for the third time. The first two times they were closed for private parties. We made sure to call ahead this time and it was a go. Well we arrived and discovered all the employees standing outside. They didn’t have electricity in the entire area. We sort of figured there was a problem when we tried to cross the street and the traffic signals weren’t working. As a result we ended up finding one area of town that did have lights and the Irish Castle restaurant was in that area. That’s were we ate dinner.

When we arrived back at the apartment we watched some DVD’s and the next thing you know the electricity went out in the area were we’re staying in. I don’t know what time they came back on but it was real late when the lights woke me up. Rest assured we have much more reliable utilities in the USA. At some point or another we have lost every utility available including water. We wanted to call and wish some people back home a happy 4th but without electric it couldn’t happen. You were in our thoughts.

Today’s visit at the baby house started out well enough. Sophia started to get a little cranky at the end. She was just ready for her milk and cookies and a nap. Today she was all about her Daddy. She had dozens of kisses for me and wanted me to hold her for most of the visit. You just got to love Daddy’s little girls.
