Gotcha Day!
We are so happy to report that Sophia is at home with us sleeping in her crib. Today at 3:40pm her flight landed in Washington DC (Dulles). Around 4:40 the escort, Oleg walked out with America's newest citizen, our precious daughter Sophia. She looked very scared and when she was handed over to us she cried. We think it was just to much for her with all the activity at the airport. Once we got her in the car she was laughing and smiling like the good old days in Kazakhstan. About an hour into our two our drive home she fell asleep. When we got home there was some wonderful balloons on the house and a big Welcome home Sophia sign. A big thank you goes out to the Coleman's for that.
Once we got inside we showed her around the house Sophia got a bath. We wanted a clean baby for a change and figured she would sleep better cleaned up. She hated the bath so we made it a quick one. We then give her some apple sauce which she liked. She even got to wear the Saints bib that Daddy got her in New Orleans. GO SAINTS! At this point she was falling asleep again so we put her in her crib. So far it's all good. We're sure the next few days we all will be making some adjustments but think it will go real good.
We will get some better pictures of her in the next few days and share them with all. For now enjoy some of the ones we got today. As you can see her hair got much longer and she gained some weight too. Her 18 month old pajamas are pretty tight and she is only 14 months old as of yesterday.

YEAH,YEAH,YEAH! I am so happy for all three of you, I am sitting hear with tears streaming down my face! Enjoy every moment with the newest Ceravola! We cannot wait to meet her!
congrats on finally getting your sweet angel home! I'm sure she was freaked out, wondering what the heck was going on!
I am sure she will adjust in no time and be the happy sweet lil girl you know and love (sounds like she was in the car already!)
She is a doll...it was a long journey but totally worth it. :) That is exactly the way we feel about Leeza. I still look at her in awe and get all emotional..our dream come true has been home 11 months already! :)
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! We are so happy for you. It is a day you will never forget. Now, the fun begins! It only gets crazier from here, but enjoy it. Adam didn't like the bath at first either. It took him a week or two, but now he loves it! He can't get enough of the water. It's so much fun to watch them at this age and see things literally change and develop from one day to the next. Again, congratulations!
Shana, Larry and Adam.
Congratulation and . . . FINALLY!
So glad for ya'll and hope to see you in New Orleans one of these days.
We'll be watching for more pictures, but we have a feeling that you might be a little bit busy.
Love from,
Jeff & Vicky
